The award is granted by MB TECHNIKA once a year to ten Polish or foreign companies on the basis of the following criteria:

• 1. CONTRIBUTION TO ESTABLISHMENT OF JOBS IN A REGION
• 2. BASING THE BUSINESS ON FAIR PARTNER PRINCIPLES AND BUSINESS ETHICS
• 3. SUPPORTING SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND CHARITY TOGETHER WITH THE ENTITY GRANTING "THE BUSINESS SWAN" AWARD

The "Business Swan" statuette is the symbol of maturity and responsible activities in own environment, as well as the beauty of mutual social campaigns, since a swan never lives on its own in alienation.

The statuette is handmade of paper. One statuette is made of ca. 600 specially prepared mini-sheets, which also symbolizes hard work combined with expected effects, in which individual seemingly unimportant elements create a compact monolith and a long-lasting structure.
